Editor is responsible for obtaining information and articles for each issue of the newsletter, edits, proofreads, and styles the content throughout. Submitted items are checked for accuracy and grammar. Editor also writes articles for the newsletter, and seeks out new entries and articles from guild members. After each newsletter is created, editor is responsible for uploading it to the guild website and printing and mailing out copies of the newsletter to members on the mailing list. The editor also updates elements of the guild website before each new guild meeting.
Job requires use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Publisher, as well as slight html use.

Proofreaders are responsible for checking typeset pages for content accuracy, misspelled words, missing type, and ensuring style consistency as set forth by each customer. Also responsible for checking that customer edits have been made correctly, including global style changes for the whole print job that may not be marked throughout.
