Achievements
  • Created and implemented a behavioral based hiring system, which resulted in a 92% hiring success rate.
  • Performed payroll and timesheet responsibilities, which allowed Trane to save over $200,000 in 3 years.
  • Eliminated the need to use a headhunter to fill any position and eliminated the need to hire expensive temporary employees which saved the company $740,000 in the last 3 years.
  • Created all new job descriptions, job postings and 60/90 day and annual evaluations, which increase productivity and allowed us to become the most cost efficient Trane District Office in the US. The results of my efforts allowed all of our employees to understand how to be successful at Trane, hence we ranked 4th in the world in employee engagement score.
  • Developed, implemented and conducted new hire orientation and benefits meetings so all employees would select the best benefit plan as a result my materials were used at a Corporate level.
  • Managed all WC claims and investigations, held employees accountable for injuries, developed new annual evaluations which included safety as a job requirement and hired only safe employees; as a result Trane had no days away from work and I was able to terminate 3 employees who had fraudulent claims.
  • Created and enforced the Trane Employee Handbook policies and procedures, which reduced attendance and behavioral problems. Developed an internal investigation policy and procedure, which allowed me to successfully defend ethics hotline complaints.
  • Created and complied an employee survey where results showed that 100% of employees agreed that I was able to get them the answers they needed to all their benefits and HR questions.
  • Performed market survey and job analysis to create hourly job descriptions, a new wage structure and a new promotional structure which reduce turnover, due to lack of promotion and low wages, to 0%.
  • Developed and managed five Affirmative Action Plans, resume tracking system and I-9 record keeping system that enabled the Division to meet our yearly AA goals and to be the only RRD Division to successfully pass an OFCCP audit by receiving a letter of compliance. I legally defended five EEOC complaints and won all unemployment claims.
