- When I read through the job details of the IT Director of Data Center Shared Services position. I immediately thought what a great opportunity to do what I do best, assess a company's current infrastructure, develop a short and long-term strategy and roll up my sleeves to get it done while mentoring others.
- Additionally, at several global organizations I have led the efforts to transform, build, monitor and manage infrastructures that spanned multiple locations over four continents. Specifically transformed the uptime of two 24/7 global companies from 75 at best to a consistent 99.9999 and increased customer satisfaction significantly. - Assisting a small manufacturing company with creating a secure IT infrastructure, a short and long-term strategy and building and mentoring a small team to execute that plan.
- Confidential has net sales at approximately 120 million, 400 employees worldwide and is a world leader in the manufacture of alternative wine closures sold through distributors. I reported to the CFO and had 10 global direct reports, IT manager, senior infrastructure engineers, systems analysts, business intelligence specialists, systems/application developer and desktop support specialists. I left in July 2014 to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity with a former colleague as a Fractional CIO helping small medium businesses with their IT strategy.

Camstar provides the worlds easiest to use and most robust manufacturing execution system MES . I reported to the Sr. Director, Global Solutions and had many roles ranging from an individual contributor to leading several integration teams. During the economic downturn of 2009 I was laid off as Camstar was forced to downsize their staff.

- Lenox China had 200 million net revenue, approximately 4000 employees and is a manufacturer of fine bone china for over 120 years also known for providing Presidential dinnerware to the White House. I reported to the CIO and had 25 direct reports, infrastructure engineers, application developers, database administrators, systems analysts and business analysts. I left in 2005 to further my career after a new CEO came in to reorganize the division by shutting down manufacturing facilities.
- During my tenure I was hired as a Systems Analyst in the Kinston, NC facility and was promoted four times spanning almost 10 years of service. Products used where Microsoft, Cisco, AS/400 and Unix within a centrally located data center.
- Implemented infrastructure monitoring and KPI's to ensure service level agreements SLAs with the applications development team, database management team, manufacturing and distribution facilities, vendors and end users.
- Transformed how Lenox captured production and quality data by creating an application for 5 manufacturing facilities that was completed 2 months early, saved Lenox approximately 50 million by implementing a real time system with immediate business intelligence analysis.
