  • Developed the cities GIS from ground up using base data from the State of Tn. and LiDAR data compiled by Wiser Company along with GPS data, compiled data, census data, TDOT data, FEMA layers, Traffic data. Most of the data used by The City of Portland's GIS data was generated or mined by myself. Data storage has been MS Access or SQL depending on what year.
  • Provide all GIS requests for the city's departments including Public Works, Planning, Public Safety, Engineering, Community Development, Airport, Management and Mayor Council.
  • Webpage development including GIS web services for all departments, mobile included. Knowledge of the use of REST , JSON, SOAP in setting up web services and when combining other web services provide by other entities, i.e. Bing, Google, etc Use of Flex, HTML, Java, .net to develop applications around web services.
  • General cartography along with much analyzing of data though ArcGIS tools and third party tools to produce needed information.
