I was tasked to create and maintain all of the mapping that was involved in the draft environmental impact statement for the CATS Northeast Light Rail DEIS Document. I was the main contact in providing support on all of the figure generation and field data conversion that was presented in the document. I created all of the field maps for the prime and sub-consultants to aid in their field data collection. I generated the parameters map for the flight path of the corridor area to obtain aerial imagery for the project boundary.

I was tasked to provide NEPA documentation services and GPS field support to our Environmental Services department to aid them in the collection of wetlands, streams, and ponds for the delineation process. Once these files were finalized and the preferred alternative was selected everything with in the corridor that was of environmental importance was added to the GIS database and impacts were calculated on the features. Mapping and spreadsheets were then created to add to our draft environmental impact statement document. Once the preferred alternative was selected and the impacts were calculated and reviewed by the agencies we presented all of the information to the public in a citizens informational work shop for NCDOT. We are currently working on finalizing the FEIS document.

I designed a custom Arcpad template and was tasked by the operations manager for the Pines Retirement Community in Davidson to do a comprehensive sign inventory. All of the signs on the property were located using a Trimble GeoHX and then were rated on condition and visibility. All signs were photographed and hot linked to the geodatabase and uploaded to a private Map group on ArcGIS online for personal use of the client. A map book was also created and each sign had its location, assessment, photograph, and purposed improvement in a hard copy format for the operations manager to use in while on the grounds.

Working with Gwinnett County Sewer Department and Reynolds Inliner a sewer rehabilitation inventory project was developed, using existing GIS data to aid in the refurbishing, of existing damaged sanitary sewer structures throughout Gwinnett County. Working Closely with Gwinnett County's Sanitary Sewer department and a third party vendor we were able to customize a work flow that would extract field data and generate work orders to fulfill the client's needs. This was achieved by using the GBA Master Series to input and maintain observed field data. Work orders and reports were generated in GBA to provide crucial data, and visually show defects to the Client and contractors tasked to fix the damaged structures. ArcView was directly linked to the GBA Master Series via SDE relational database to provide maps of the areas in question. Structure data and pipe information can be queried directly through ArcView from the data that has been input into GBA. This database was maintained and manipulated on a weekly basis. The project to date has eliminated over 20 million gallons of infiltration per day since it was started back in 2002 and has been the stepping stone to more contracts to repair Gwinnett County's entire sanitary sewer system
