This project involves development of IP based tactical VoIP phone with SIP as signaling and call processing protocol. Overall development includes design of hardware with all interfaces like Ethernet, Audio Codec and Video Codec etc. This IP based Phone is developed on Altera’s Cyclone III based FPGA platform with security (encryption) as one of the prime aspects. A Black Fin DSP Processor will be included for signal processing applications like speech compression and LCD with touch screen to provide man machine interface.

PCB#1 : Design and Development of Digital Receiver Card (Digital IF) Using Technique of digital down conversion and Digital Pulse Compression.

The Board’s primary function is to receive four Channel at an IF frequency of 60MHZ and to present a sample quadrature output stream at 5msp/stream. The IF signals is sampled at a 50 MHz, digitally down converted and fully pulse compressed at base band.The output is in link format,control of board through bus mto tranfers a output data.
