WiMAX Access Controller

Successfully designed and implemented the change requests for the call control portion of this WiMAX network access server (NAS), leveraging strong knowledge of call control flow and MIP, RADIUS, and DHCP protocols as well as C and C++.

QoS Alerter

Managed requirements analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing for this application’s alarm correlation feature.

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Agents

Developed a customized SNMP agent simulator, reducing costs associated with the use of a licensed simulator.

OMC Application

Designed and implemented change requests for this core application, fixing bugs, resolving issues, and designing enhancements. As part of change request, prepared impact analysis and execution plan for complete SDLC.
Designed and implemented the Border Cell Configuration feature for Configuration Module of WiMAX NMS Application to ensure appropriately updated telecom parameters required for the OMC’s mobility feature.
Designed and implemented inter-parameter check feature for WiMAX NMS Application, particularly detailed work required for configuring the network element.
Conducted load and stress testing, identifying and resolving performance issues evident with both peak and nominal traffic loads as well as with both medium- and high-configuration networks using Java, QTP and shell scripts.
Set up and established the entire OMC platform, a robust system now in use across a 35-member team.
Technical environment included Configuration Module, Mediation Module of NMS, Core Java, CORBA, SNMP, QTP, MIMIC, and Oracle as well as Adventnet SNMP API’s, NMS Technology and Alarm Management of FCAPS module.
