- Collaborate with the Benefits Team and payroll to resolve high level benefit/payroll related issues and develop processes to bring long term resolution to those issues.
- Review the annual renewal process of all benefit vendors through employee feedback and benchmark comparisons.
- Research, resolve and respond to employee questions and concerns related to benefit plans
- Provide benefit plan interpretation for employees, managers and HR Business Consultants
- Handle escalated cases such as claims/appeals for health and welfare issues
- Resolve escalated issues and appeals for Flexible Spending Account
- Coordinate all benefits claims in the case of active employee death and work with vendor (Hewitt) to improve the death benefit payment process.
- Process BI-weekly payroll contributions for defined contribution plan and nonqualified plans.
- Process Employee Stock Ownership Plan administration and contributions including day to day administration, eligibility, employee communication, valuation of new stock prices, reporting, etc.
- Wire 401(k) contributions bi-weekly for participant account updates.
- Vendor Manager Partner with various outside vendors (Merrill Lynch, Hewitt, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental etc.) on plan administration for DB, DC and Health and Welfare plans.
- Trained in HIPAA regulations
