PROJECT: JPMC – TITAN-II
Trust Information Transaction Accounting Network 2, forms a part of the core custody operations of JPMC-IS. It stores all the settled trade transactions as well as the cash transactions for 18 months and provides online queries and various different reports as and when required. This system thereby acts as the “Book of the Bank”. It also creates daily asset tapes and extensive reports for balance reconciliation and cash proofs. Along with this core functionality of data archival, Titan 2 system does many other important functions like cash projection and overdraft processing

Recon International is a central repository of International Merchant data used by Online Merchant Services. The prime function of Recon is reconciliation of Submission against payment. Recon is the POA for submission and Payment Data. It supports and provides data to Front end systems like OMS, GUI, IMDD etc. Recon Online screens are also used to Support the Customer Care / Privileged User’s to support merchants on their Payment & Submissions.

PROJECT: MERCHANTPRICING REVIEW

Merchant Pricing Review is the international platform to periodically review merchant volume to ensure the correct discount rate has been applied. This allows American Express to meet contractual obligations with the merchants.

The MPR Platform is managed through a desktop tool which is user friendly and provides the client managers, business leaders the ability to review the rates and action them accordingly. MPR recommended rates can be stopped or changed. If the rate is stopped, the merchant should remain on the current discount rate and the proposed rate is rejected. If the rate is changed, the proposed rate and current rate should be rejected and a different rate is recommended. Once there is a change in the merchants rates, the merchants are informed about the rate change through letters. Merchants whose rates did not change will receive no communication.
