Lead Systems Engineer for the Planning Management segment of the GIMDE2000 Operation and Maintenance contract. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency NIMA was the customer and Harris corp. the Prime. My focus was on Engineering Change Proposal evaluation and extensive validation testing of the GIMDE2000 software. Manufacturing Planning APS interfaced with all other management segments so I had to resolve engineering issues in those segments that impacted planning. My last task was to design and execute a major load test of the web-based system using the LoadRunner, WinRunner, andTestDirector tool suite from Mercury Interactive. I used the Vugen robot to record a complex script, parameterized the dynamic HTML, and parameterized the inputs to be read from files.

Lead Systems Engineer for the Manufacturing Planning management segment of the GIMDE2000 Workflow/Production Planning Program. I evaluated three different Manufacturing Planning tools Manugistics AMS SupplyC, before finally settling on Adexa's Paragon's MCP as well as evaluating two Forecasting tools Manugistics DP and DPEE . I have worked with domain experts from InSynch and the customer to craft the architecture for the Planning management segment. I wrote 21 Use cases describing how to interface a converted customer Oracle RDBMS to the Adexa Material Capacity Planner MCP product. These 21 Use Cases consisted of a total of 498 steps described in 95 pages. I thoroughly tested Verification Validation the resulting software. This task required extensive customer interaction involving one-on-one discussions, Technical Exchange Meetings, Customer Design Reviews, and Engineering Change Board reviews and approvals. I became the Oracle expert for large areas of the database. I created a large amount of the system test data and I worked with the Harris DBA's in an ongoing relationship to make needed changes.

Lead architect/tester on AIN-IF, a 7 person project to build an interface between WinStar's Customer Service Program CSP andBellcore's ASMS flow-through provisioning product. ASMS provides flow-through provisioning of mass-market AIN services and LNP Local Number Portability services. The Generic Data Interface GDI message interface was bypassed in favor of a direct interface to ASMS' native Oracle RDBMS, greatly reducing the complexity of the solution.
