Worked as part of a group to identify the location of an unidentified area of the United States. Determination was based on spectral analyses using ENVI. Images of the location in varying ranges of the non-visible EM spectrum were provided and the mineralogical constituents of the subject area were determined based on known mineral spectral ranges.

Worked in the planetary science lab examining Mars Orbital Camera MOC images. The primary goal was to classify Martian gullies using descriptors to determine age and possible mechanisms of formation. Analyzed THEMIS thermal imagery for calculation of Martian surface temperatures. I employed GIS to correlate the descriptors on a Martian surface map using a lat/long projection. Loaded the descriptors into a database within Arc MAP so a user could query any number of search strings within the Arc MAP program in order to view gully distribution
