• Working as an EDI Specialist/Business Analyst, I am liaison between business users and rest of the IT groups as well as EDI vendors, responsible for all aspects of EDI transactions processing, from supporting the daily operations to participating in new initiatives, creating new mapping docs based on business requirements.

• Project: is a web application project prepared for a Swiss Telecommunication company Provide users with the ability to enter Broadband Connectivity Service orders via Web.
• A request is initiated by an ISP/Super User or Public is transmitted to the ServiceGate via a Web interface build in JAVA . ServiceGate authenticates and validates the request. If all processing is successful then an order is generated in the database and requests are e-mailed to the Back Office/installation office via Mercator interface. The Back Office manages the interactions between the various Swisscom OSSs.
• Responsible for Analysis, development of XML interface between JAVA and Oracle database, E-mail/Fax interfaces to the BackOffice MSCS. I was involved in writing Java Servlets parsing HTTP request and HTML parameters to Java utility classes involving JDBC Bridge for updating and querying the database. Created a link between Web and the database using database adapter. Called Stored Procs for Database retrieval and performed various validations before sending it to XML Parser.
