COUNSELING SKILLS

Individual and family:

• Work as In-home therapy clinician, providing family therapy and psychoeducation. Use family strengths to find alternative ways to manage behavior and relationships within a family's own culture.
• Provide individual and/or family therapy for 35 40 clients ranging in ages from 3 years to 73 years old in home, school, and office settings. Treatment Plan Development:

• Write discharge plans regarding continuing psychiatric care and provide resources for discharge plans from emergency room or medical floor patients.

• Created and/or edited profiles interventions and goals of caseload created by using recent clinical history with the student as well as past documentation , staff experiences, and review of various achievement WIAT, etc. , academic MCAS, etc. , intellectual WAIS-IV, etc. and social/emotional assessments BASC, TAT, etc.
• Drafted Student Strengths and Key Evaluation Results Summary and draft of Vision Statement sections of IEP. Created initial drafts of yearly IEP goals and benchmarks for Functional Adaptation.

Case Management:

• Responsible for maintaining efficient, ethical, and productive communication between crisis intervention consultants and hospital staff, as well as tracking response times, diagnoses, and other various medical data.
• Manage needs of caseload of 35-40 clients and assist families and adults in finding and accessing local resources such as health care, medication, financial support, housing support, DCF, DMH, and DDS advocacy.

Crisis Intervention:
