The scope of the project is aimed at developing an air bag system to protect the commuters during the crash. During a frontal crash, Driver 1st stage and Pretension would be deployed. For side crash, driver side curtains are deployed, same for passenger too . The control system completes the diagnosis of the various devices and sensors placed on the system continuously checks the peripherals as long as the vehicle is running within a period of six seconds. The Accelerometers placed on board acquires the crash pulses during the time of crash.
