This was a project for the Confidential NAVAIR Headquarters to integrate 6 legacy configuration management applications into one integrated oracle database solution. Lead the development team in the use of Oracle Case Method with Oracle Designer 2000. The application consists of over 300 normalized and tightly constrained tables with several hundred application screens and reports. The application was 100 generated from Designer 2000, without any modifications, and runs as a web application using Oracle Web Forms. Technical lead responsibilities included: Reviewing all technical issues and providing the optimal solutions Reviewing and approving all database design issues and changes, reverse engineered legacy databases designs from Erwin into Oracle Designer repository. Also wrote Designer API scripts to perform tasks such as inserting object comments, reordering table columns and key columns, recreating indexes, and updating index tablespace references, wrote sql scripts to evaluate the database model such as: primary key columns duplicated in other tables without constraints adding user extensions to Designer 2000 to track the legacy data mapping and external system interfaces data mapping.
