Description:

The aim of this project was to upgrade migrate the ETL code of the Union Bank from Informatica 7 environment to Informatica 8. As a part of this activity 40 folders containing around 3000 mappings for all the LOANS, Branch and BASEL source systems are migrated. The logics and paths of the Unix Scripts for triggering the ETL's are also modified as a part of this activity. The migration was followed by rigorous system integration testing cycles, ensuring that the parameter files updating, source files archival and reconciliation and post loads balancing is happening in the expected manner. Until the complete ETLs were upgraded loads were running in both INFA7 and INFA8 repositories. Real-time source files were Ftp'd onto the test server on which INFA 8 was running as in production server. After the completion of daily loads in both environments the data comparison and validation is carried out. All the data differences and data quality issues identified and reported to the management. After fixing the data anomalies the code again goes for SIT cycles.
