Company : Confidential
Dates : 12/03/2007 to 3/31/2010
Position : Snr Analyst Programmer
Skills : Synon, CLP, RPG, IQ (inter-active query)
Business: Auto Insurance/Retitling
Duties
Maintain/enhance existing systems and develop new systems using Synon based on user requirements.
I have been very heavily involved as project leader in converting State relocation and repossession forms into page segments and creating input screens to capture data per state for use by our relocation and repossession department.
This involved working closely with users to determine requirements for generating these forms and setting up test scenarios in QA.
These forms are then incorporated as overlays in a print object and automatically pre-filled via entry screens created to capture the requested data. The fields also have to be positioned to print in the designated area on the form. All this is done in Synon. These forms are also imported to optical storage when they print using a software package that reads the barcode we create at the bottom of the covering letter.

EXPERIENCE:

11/2006 – 11/2007 Confidential Jacksonville / FL
Consultant

I was employed at Nelnet as a software engineer.I was responsible for support, maintenance and enhancements to our Loan Origination System, which is written in RPG and Cool 2E (Synon). I supported our users at offices in Jacksonville, Denver and Lincoln. I completed a Global Reconciliation Project which moved funds when a loan is sold from one lender to another. Previously, this was a manual exercise which took several days to complete and was done after the fact which caused lenders many problems waiting for their accounts to be reconciled.
Programs were done in Synon, Sequel and CL.
Other projects I completed included ‘Front End Borrower Benefits’ and ‘Customer Service Follow Up’.
