• CIMS charge back system installation and maintenance. I downloaded and installed new release on z/OS. Compiled and linked in house written COBOL programs that linked to CIMS programs, made some source code changes. Set up new release to run the daily and monthly jobs in parallel on test system. I found there was a bug in previous release, where sometimes CPU usage records were being dropped. I filed change management documents with detailed install steps and a complete back out plan for management approval. Received management approval after a few minor changes to clarify install steps. Moved new release to production. Missed one copybook that needed to be used from old release. This affected a cold fusion program used in a web interface. I found the problem before any users. I updated copy book and problem was resolved. I was responsible for daily and monthly jobs, and resolving user questions about charges. I also ran many ADHOC jobs to track and produce reports for daily, monthly and yearly totals. z/VM 5.4 LINUX RED HAT. I set up z/VM user profile for z/LINUX.. Used 3390 MOD 3's for LINUX file system. I worked with LINUX system programmer during download of RED HAT and install.
