NJ SACWIS Project, DYFS, State of NJ– (04/06/2007 to 11/03/2008)
The State of New Jersey has begun the development of its statewide automated child welfare Information system (SACWIS), a transfer of the eWiSACWIS web-based system developed by CGI- AMS and now in use in Wisconsin. The new SACWIS system will support case practice reforms undertaken by the Division of Youth and Family Services to promote child safety and well being, by supporting case tracking and integrated case management. CGI- AMS has completed the work on the modification and implementation of Release 1, which rolled out intake functionality in November 2004. The balance of full SACWIS system functionality will be implemented statewide as Release 2. CGI-AMS will implement Release 3 for interfaces and overall system enhancements and modifications. When Release 2 is implemented, more then 6000 users will have access to a web-based case management system that meets all Federal SACWIS requirements and the State’s business requirements.
