I am looking for employment in the area of medical records, coding, and billing. I am willing to work by either remote coding or on-site at a facility. I have earned a certificate in medical coding and billing from Trident Technical College as well as being certified by AHIMA as a Certified Coding Associate CCA . I have 9 months of experience in ancillary services and ED physician and facility, including E/M level coding. I'm willing and ready to take my CCS Certified Coding Specialist . I am willing to travel or provide my equipment including duel monitors, High-speed internet connection for remote coding. I always like to broaden my skills and capabilities. I enjoy my career in coding and take pride in my work being accurate and proficient. |
Experience Outpatient Coder Responsibilities included on-site and teleworking to analyze, abstract, code hospital charts with CPT/ICD-9, assign appropriate E/M levels, injections, infusions, and any other procedures performed by ER physicians and facilities. Read and code ancillary reports such as labs, radiology, sleep/nerve studies, and same day surgery I also entered charges for all Emergency Room visits for both the physician and facility. Also correction coding issues with rejected claims. Managed Precyse coders for outpatient coding including getting queries answered and all documentation to complete charts. I work with Med Assets, 3M, Precyse coding company and MediTech. Remote responsibilities included logging in using Citrix to analyze, abstract, code with CPT/ICD-9, assign appropriate codes.
