Digital UNIX/Tru64 UNIX Server Management:

• Senior Technical Lead, Chase EZ Pass Oracle database servers: Managed two sets of servers running Digital UNIX and UNIX clustered supporting Oracle databases, with primary production running on an Alpha 8400/8200 /8300 trio, and with an Alpha 8400/8200 pair as D/R and development systems. Monitored performance, backups, installed patches, Planned CPU and disk expansion as business volume rapidly increased. Upgraded the original Alpha 8200 servers to 4 CPUs, and then added on an 8-CPU Alpha 8400 server to each set. 2000-2002
• Senior Technical Lead, SNA Peer Server Gateway systems: Replaced two pairs of non Y2K compliant DEC3000 systems with two single new Alpha 800 servers running Digital UNIX 4.0 D and installed newer version of DEC SNA Peer Server Gateway software. Co-Technical Lead, consolidation and migration of several Alpha 2000 and 4000 servers at three old datacenters onto single Integrity rx3600 servers at Elk Grove IL, and Bear DE.
