• The purpose of the SMF is to store information pertaining to all types of assets that can be held by any BBH client. These assets can be anything from standard financial instruments to physical items like paintings, sealed envelops, etc, held in the BBH vault. The SMF provides a single point of entry for the receipts, validation and maintenance of security information as well as up to date pricing.
• Responsibilities included:
• Development of AUTO set-ups for new asset type processing utilizing DB2 triggers, MQSeries and DB2 Stored Procedures. The project involves sending a batch overnight feed from the Custody SMF to the FircoSoft File Filter. This feed contains security reference information for securities previously set up.

• IM is a rules-based environment that allows Global Investor Services to accept and route financial transactions using client-specific logic.
