I was hired to migrate the entire SAP e-sourcing landscape from windows to linux infrastructure. Compiled customized kernel on these servers, created Jboss boot scripts and wrapper scripts to write to a customized jboss-log file. Compiled Apache to use limited modules and created boot scripts for apache. Setup monitoring on these servers and set logrotation policy. Created linux document repository to help the team members with mastering basic linux and service restart commands. Also trained and setup an offshore support team in Bangalore as part of our 24x7 L1 support over a period of 2 months.

  • Setting up Suse Linux SLES servers to be used as Application web server for SAP e-sourcing MM module. Administering over 200 servers in 7 datacenters in EMEA and North America..
