The data in Geneva is stored in objects object oriented database . As part of daily accounting run Taxlot and summary positions, trades, nontrades, forecast reports , Geneva feeds the data to external systems like GCRS database through an ETL layer. Reports to be extracted are framed using RSL Report Specific Language which is product specific. It communicates with other external systems using the wrappers coded in Java. Risk Weighted Asset Management was based on Basel II compliances. RWA is a measure of the amount of a banks assets, adjusted for risk. The nature of a bank's business means it is usual for almost all of a bank's assets will consist of loans to customers. Comparing the amount of capital a bank has with the amount of its assets gives a measure of how able the bank is to absorb losses. The risk on assets was calculated through statistical formula which could be seen through a front end GUI Fermat Regulatory Reporting Tool. RWA was basically used to reduce risk on assets. Various informatica ETL mapping were employed to transform and upload the data inventory subject to requirements of Fermat.

Commercial Data Warehousing has many monthly and daily processes running inside it. Out of which Credit Reporting Data Mart CRDM is a daily process. The reporting was supported for credit risk services like Automated Financial Services, Asset Based Lending and Lease Pack. The source files AFS, ABL and LP come to the ODS on daily basis and the CRDM tables are populated through Informatica mapping. CRDM basically deals with the Facilities of syndicated and non syndicated customers of ABN AMRO. On monthly basis it produces an Economic Capital extract for the amount fields of the customer where the amounts get rolled up for Letter of Credit balances or netted for Participants. In addition to this, the line of Business of the Facility also gets reflected in the data mart. Reports were generated from the data mart in Business Objects.

It describes the percentage of assets allocated through Pie-Chart for any investor. It calculates Skewness, Kurtosis in SQL Server for the data provided and uploads in the front end in ASP. These data is shown in Bar Graph as well as 3D Pie-Chart. It keeps track of the user history which is available for Admin only. Asset allocation is the process of spreading the savings across different types of investments and industries by diversifying assets between different asset classes.
