• Designed and developed Web Based applications for tournament administration consisting of tournament registration processed over 3 million in registrations in 2011, administration, real time scoring collection via Windows Mobile handhelds and online real time scoring. This suite of applications consists of 6 web front ends in ASP.net, VB.net, AJAX and jQuery/jQuery UI, 3 web services and 1 web front end using HTML5/jQuery Mobile. The backend database is SQL Server 2008 R2 with over 400 stored procedures and functions written in T-SQL.
• Designed and developed Web Based application in use by over 10,000 golf clubs throughout the country for handicap calculation using ASP.net, VB.net, jQuery/jQuery UI and AJAX. This suite of applications consists for 3 web front ends, a web service supplying GHIN customers with data and a business tier that connects t DB2 v9.7.
• Designed and developed a web based application for Course Rating administration using ASP.net, C and jQuery. The business tier was als written in C with the database running SQL Server 2008 R2. This application manages course ratings throughout the country, servicing over 110 Golf Associations.
• Designed and developed GHIN's main website, using Ektron 8.1. This implementation leveraged ASP.net, VB.net, AJAX, HTML5, jQuery and Modernzr. GHIN's main website includes a golfer portal called eGolfer which allows golfers t view and post scores along with running reports. GHIN's main club portal, eClubhouse is currently in development built on top of eGolfer t allow for seamless integration for golfers t view information about their golf club.
• Created Web Based, Client Based, and Mobile Device applications t assist the USGA Rules and Competitions department t provide live scoring services for all USGA Amateur Championships. The original application on the mobile devices was developed using the .NET Compact Framework. The second version was developed using jQuery, jQuery Mobile and HTML5.
• Created widgets for use on t allow golfers t view their handicap indexes, scores and post scores. These widgets can be shared by golf associations for their own websites. These are developed using ASP.net, VB.net and AJAX.
