Siebel Functional/Technical Developer and Siebel Architect

Member of Functional Design, Technical Design, Build, Fix and Siebel Architect Team for Accenture client, Department for Work and Pension ESA for the UK Government. This project was completed using an off shore model, but was onsite in both UK and India. This was a large scale Siebel implementation, full life cycle development projects. Extensive interaction with business users to define and design functionality and usability.

Project: Department for Work and Pension CAMLite, UK Government (02/09 – 03/11)

CAMLite has been introduced to make common CAM between ESA and PTP all are part of Department of Work and Pension UK. It was introduced in February 2009 and will be administered by Jobcentre Plus in Great Britain and by the Social Security Agency in Northern Ireland.

CAMLite Functional Design

• CAMLite Release 1 and Release 1.1 functional Design Helping to deliver packs for Functional Design from client site (Blackpool, United Kingdom).

Project: Department for Work and Pension ESA (Employment Support Allowance), UK Government (06/08 – 02/09)

ESA is a contributory and income related benefit that will initially replace new claims to Incapacity Benefit (IB) and Income Support (IS) paid on grounds of incapacity. It was introduced on October 2008 and will be administered by Jobcentre Plus in Great Britain and by the Social Security Agency in Northern Ireland.
Eventually all existing IB and Severe Disablement Allowance cases, in addition to all IS cases paid on grounds of incapacity, will be migrated to ESA, but that will not be required for the initial release of the ESA system and is not currently in the scope of the ESA program. However, some elements related to migration, such as the mapping of data from the current systems to the new ones, must be considered in the design of the first release.

Project : Department for Work and Pension PTP (Pension Transformation Programme), UK Government (09/07 – 06/08)

Write-Ups: The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is modernizing the services that are provided to its customers. The Pensions Transformation Program (PTP) is a core part of this initiative, specifically focusing on those services that are provided to people approaching an age where the customer can claim a state pension or pensioners themselves.

• Involved in various phases of the PTP project from design, build, Test (LT, AT, PT, TT) executions, merge.
• Responsible for resolving the problems in executing test scripts, fixing the SIR (System Investigation Report) and providing suggestions for solving Problem Tracker.

To make sure that the new or enhance functionality will not adversely impact any other functionality and ensure that the code changes are performance friendly.
• To help the test team/Fix team, resolving any issues pertaining to that DD.
• Discuss the Design and Build components with the designer/developer and with Design Authority, if required.

• To make sure that the changes made to a release should be in symmetry with other releases.
