CAMLite has been introduced to make common CAM between ESA and PTP all are part of Department of Work and Pension UK. It was introduced in February 2009 and will be administered by Jobcentre Plus in Great Britain and by the Social Security Agency in Northern Ireland.

Project: Department for Work and Pension ESA (Employment Support Allowance), UK Government (06/08 – 02/09)
ESA is a contributory and income related benefit that will initially replace new claims to Incapacity Benefit (IB) and Income Support (IS) paid on grounds of incapacity. It was introduced on October 2008 and will be administered by Jobcentre Plus in Great Britain and by the Social Security Agency in Northern Ireland.
Eventually all existing IB and Severe Disablement Allowance cases, in addition to all IS cases paid on grounds of incapacity, will be migrated to ESA, but that will not be required for the initial release of the ESA system and is not currently in the scope of the ESA program. However, some elements related to migration, such as the mapping of data from the current systems to the new ones, must be considered in the design of the first release.
