• Completed a project that builds an application for large pharmaceutical client for managing their risk based monitoring of multitudes of trial sites across the globe for various drug trial studies. The application provides capabilities to various Clinical Trial Operation Managers to setup various drug trial studies, including assumptions, baselines and valid ranges for Quality Risk Indicators. Using the application, the Clinical Trials Operations Managers and Clinical Project Leaders can closely monitor the risk trends of sites per study and work performance of their Clinical Research Associates. The application gives Clinical Research Associates capability to manage their respective sites' risks when systems alerts or suggests - based on changes in QRIs and baseline setup by CTOMs or CPLs - the CRAs to take proactive corrective actions such as scheduling a Site Monitoring Visit. The application provides various reports in real-time to CTOMs, CPLs and CRAs.
• The application is mobile and social enabled. For simpler tasks such as approvals of Site Monitoring Visits, the users can use their smart phones iPhone or Android phones . Also, various system level notifications and communications of importance are available in Appian's Tempo feed on smart phones.
• The application is built on Appian BPM suite 6.6.1 platform with JBoss 5.1, Oracle 11g on Windows 2008 R2 servers.
