Our client, in the Dayton area is seeking several Sr RPG Developer to join a growing and dynamic team. This is a great chance to work on new development and projects The role is a 6 month contract to hire.

Minimum requirements:

  • RPG IV RPG/ILE
  • Control Language CL
  • IBM i iSeries, AS/400 V6R1
  • DB2 SQL
  • Batch and Interactive RPG programs using modular programming
  • Ability to work within an agile software development methodology
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to interact with others outside of IT including end users
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality software
  • Good analytical, written, and verbal skills
  • Preferred requirements:
  • IBM Rational Developer for i RDi 9.0 - Eclipse based IDE for writing IBM i apps
  • Free-Format RPG IV
  • RPG Service Programs
  • IBM i V7R1
  • Model-View-Controller MVC Architecture
