Release Manager/Software Developer

• Oversaw all releases of commercial website, oneclickdigital.com. Built Production, Quality Assurance QA , and User Acceptance Testing UAT environments from the ground up. Environments consisted of 13 Rackspace physical and virtual machines Windows 2008, SQL Server, Coveo Search, Sitecore CMS, IIS, and Windows AppFabric Cache for Production, 13 virtual machines on internal network for QA production replica , 8 virtual machines in Amazon EC2 environment on VPC and Elastic IPs for UAT. Maintained all systems and environments down to dlls, code, and patches necessary for all working pieces. Maintained and backed-up all databases for each environment and ensured each code piece was backed up for upcoming release as contingency in a roll-back situation. Had full domain admin over each environments to control security and roles, Internal and External DNS, Active Directory and Systems Installations, Maintenance, and Updating. Also, controlled the obtaining of domains names wildcard and static , SSL certs obtaining, installation, and binding , and all third-party extensions required for the environment.
• Development work included a web statistics internal web site using C .NET with java script, jquery, and JSON, for displaying web statistics from the IIS logs in production. Designed and implemented WCF services that would interact with third-party Help Desk software to automate Help Desk tickets generated from our Production website front-end. This implementation included email alerts and SQL Server updates using LINQ and C to SQL stored procedures calls. Currently writing plugins for enhancements to Spiceworks, free software used to monitor environments. Developed pieces from the Sitecore and Coveo Search implementation of our C .NET, oneclickdigital.com, website, which is used to disseminate Audio Book titles to libraries and eventually the world wide web. Some of the development libraries used included Sitecore, Telerik Web UI, and NLog for website code logging.
• Majority of my responsibilities were scripting and automating our complete build process and automation of our deployment to every environment. Coordination of each release from development, to build, to deployment, and finally to test or production. Used NANT, batch, WinSCP, and windows powershell, for complete automation of builds and deployment. Also, created scripts for bouncing entire environment or maintenance of individual pieces.

Software Developer/Systems Integrator

• Assisted in the design, development, and maintenance of a geospatial information dissemination web site for the Marine Corps. Website included an Esri ArcGIS Server backbone with Open Geospatial Consortium OGC Web Services on an Internet Information Services IIS web server. Web site was built for the secure internet protocol SIPRNet and was written in C .NET with Esri ArcObjects, CSS, XML/HTML, AJAX, JSON, JQuery, and java script.
• Development work included front end design with server-side development for common tasks which include coordinate conversion, pdf file upload, thumbnail previews, polygonal dynamic data, added administrator functionality, integration with other web services, querying multiple Marine Corps GeoDatabase layers based on the TGD model, and the addition of Dynamic Data to End User Interface.
• Additional development work included an in-house Inventory Management System. The development included design and implementation of a Microsoft SQL Server database, a web based C .NET implementation, with an xml and javascript user interface for ease of use.
• Inventory Management then migrated to a commercial software solution of a Third-Party Hosted Sharepoint website. With full administrative rights of the sharepoint, designed and implemented inventory work flows, views, and tables for tracking all inventory, in-house and deployed. Also, created Configuration management tracking areas for documents, software, and deliverables, as well as, started a Wiki solution area for developers and integrators to share common tasks, solutions, and problems encountered. Restricted user's rights and views using administration of sharepoint. Imported large amounts of database entries for inventory to sharepoint tables. Updated and maintained existing tables and views within sharepoint.
• Integration work included installation, maintenance, and training of the deployable systems. Such activities included security hardening of applications per DISA guidelines, automation scripting for patch installation, scripting maintenance and administration of Oracle, IIS, and Esri ArcSDE. System administration and troubleshooting for Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Windows Appliance platforms. Hardware troubleshooting and market research on servers, server blades, ruggedized deployable systems, plotters, scanner, print capabilities, and survey equipment. Also, creating and maintaing all supporting documentation such as Software User's Manual SUM , all training documents and materials, Software Integration Document SID , and other system and software manuals used by the Marine's in everyday operations.
