First Format - Xpath Used Xpath to parse xml retrieved from multiple news website CNN, Fox News, Al Jazeera . The problem with this was the website structures could change, so it may not work.
Second Format -Addin: Json.NET and Huffington Post's API Json.NET was used to parse the returned JSON Object the API. This simplified the whole process as it would require creating an object to capture the items in the JSON. This format will always work unless Huffington changes its JSON object structure, which wouldn't be a difficult fix.

Blackbox Testing Given an executable from another team without code and we are given free reign in testing the application.
Writing and Interpreting Requirements
Data Testing -make sure data from in and outside of the application is handle correctly.
Logical Testing - make sure what the application does in response to events is what is intended without error.
