- The Centres for Medicare and Medicaid Services CMS is underway with implementation activities to convert from Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act HIPAA Accredited Standards Committee ASC X12 version 4010A1 to ASC X12 version 5010 and National Council for Prescription Drug Programs NCPDP version 5.1 to NCPDP version D.0. The Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services HHS has adopted ASC X12 version 5010 and NCPDP version D.0 as the next HIPAA standard for HIPAA covered transactions and all covered entities have to be fully compliant on Jan 1, 2012.
- The project deals with the conversion of Missouri state Medicaid system to the new HIPAA and NCPDP standards. As part of this project, I was involved in designing, coding and testing efforts for 837 transaction conversions and also involved in coding and testing efforts for prescription number changes in D.0 billing.

- May Naps conversion is an enhancement project involving adding 8 new divisions to the existing departmental stores programs. Critical part was to identify the batch programs which needs enhancement, doing the impact analysis. I was involved in all of these including coding and JCL setup.
