Project Description
- Line Maintenance Console project is the Eclipse RCP Plug-in based desktop application. This application is hosted in the Field Service Laptop FSL used by the Thales Field Service Engineers in the Airports t plug-in t the aircraft for the following actions:
- Offload BITE information
- Retrieve Payment Transaction logs, Secure logs, Flight Connectivity logs and Usage collector logs
- Perform any Software and/or Media content download and installation onto the Digital Server Units both Primary and Secondary and Seat Video Display Units SVDU
- Perform Software download only onto Audio Video Controller Device AVCD , Interactive Cabin Management Terminal ICMT and Passenger controller Unit PCU
- Below are the modules in the application:
- BITE: Takes BITE database and generates bite offload xml files, import module that imports bite offload xml files from sql/tgz/zip, use ALFRESCO t archive bite offload xml files by Airline, Aircraft, Year, Month wise, tracker t track bite xml files, transform bite xml t a generalized format t report, built bite reports using BIRT.

Project Description
- DWR: Discrete Work Request is a work flow management system within Boeing aircraft assembly line shop. Each Discrete work identified during the flight test will be added t this system and will be tracked t closure. Each work is estimated and added t a Statement of Work SOW and will be released as a package. SOW closure is the end of work flow which will be carried out after obtaining signatures from various authorities at various stages in between.
- The DWR application is designed as a distributed modular application using JSF, J2EE technologies with Oracle 10g backend. The activity includes the development and merging of components according t the new requirements from other Labs/Organizations.
- SSPI: Single Source of Process Information is a project involved in developing and maintaining a web-based HR management application that hosts the HR and management related processes, policies and other technical documents of the Boeing company.

Project Description
- This is a J2EE based Web application which is used by Telematics Unit Developers from various part of world to test the ATX TOS Server. Primary goal of this tool is Functional Testing, Load Testing, Stress Testing, Protocol Validation, Error Scenario preparation and TMU Prototyping. This application interacts with the CDMA device which interacts with the ATX J2EE Gateway similar to the automobiles interacting to the ATX Gateway for Voice Data Calls. - This application was developed for the custom Conti TCU Device which is used t test ATX Environment Gateway systems, T3 Platform, Legacy JMS based Platform etc. . The prototype - Conti TCU device has test switches and test LEDs through which the Airbag activation, DTC initiation e.g. CAN Bus malfunction etc. , car door status, Speed Alert initiation, Recall Campaign Notice, etc. can be triggered/notified. The device uses USB port t communicate the status and activities t the Conti Windows application. A windows based in system software downloader was developed t download the binary int the TCU device. Using this device, variety of application was developed E.g. Triggers over-night load t the ATX server and outputs the logs.
- This application als has database storage, report generation and self-service automated test cases. All these developments are J2EE based platform and are based on OOO design t accommodate any future changes without affecting the current design. This project involves development of testing tool for three different OEMs viz., BMW, Honda and Hyundai . The testing tool acts as a simulator for Telematics Control Unit and used t test the software in Telematics Service Operator. This tool is used t d Functional Testing, Load Testing and Stress Testing. - The Development of the CAN evaluation module for the Siemens VDO Instrument Cluster for IVECO Trucks. CAN evaluation module is the Centralized module system which evaluates CAN signals for the validity, First value, Timeout, Error state and Error values. CAN Eval mod evaluates the signals and updates the database modules, which in turn provides access t other Application layer modules.
- The CAN module filters out the respective signal based on the data types and provide access t other modules, which in turn uses for other high-end application layers.
- The Fujitsu FR 30 91v360 controller with CAN controller was used as the main hardware background. Softune Workbench Compiler/Simulator was used for compiling, debugging and porting. - The SedanPC was an Infotainment development focusing on Cars. It involved development of WinCE based customized OS, with applications developed using Embedded VisualC and Visual Studi .NET. The other major features planned were Bluetooth telephony over GSM/GPRS, and Navigation systems GPS .
- The system was developed on Intel-X86, ARM, Intel XScale PXA272 platforms. The TrakPod GPS receiver unit was used for the GPS development.
- The tool for OS development was WinCE Platform Builder 5.0, by which customization of components, reduced footprints, Real-time capabilities were achieved. The Platform builder in itself had embeddedVC compiler for compiling the application developed on top of the WinCE OS kernel.
