Project Description:

• Confidential is an international hotel company whose goal is to create Great Hotels Guests Love. It owns, manages, leases or franchises, through various subsidiaries, almost 4,500 hotels and more than 660,000 guest rooms in nearly 100 countries and territories around the world. The Group owns a portfolio of 9 well recognized and respected hotel brands which are

• IHG makes over 153 million stays in its hotels every year. In order to drive demand for its brands , IHG focuses on advertising and marketing campaigns, 11 global call centers, 13 local language websites, a 17,600-strong sales force, Priority Club Rewards the world's largest hotel loyalty scheme which has 69 million members worldwide , in order to bring brand awareness.
• Out of the nearly 4,500 hotels bearing IHG brands, it owns only 10. The largest part of IHG's business today is the 3,911 hotels it franchises. It is notable for its Any Hotel, Anywhere program, which permits members to redeem their points for stays in non-IHG hotels as well. IHG manages 652 hotels worldwide.
• Roles Responsibilities:
• I have been a part of the offshore team in the capacity of Lead Engineer and have thorough understanding of everything that the offshore team stands for along with good technical / communication skills. As an experienced Lead Engineer, I have designed and developed many frameworks and reusable components using visual basic script and HP Quick Test Professional Tool.

Following are my job responsibilities:

• Preparing application, technical and functional design documents as per the client's requirements.
• Preparation of Automation Test Scripts, as communicated by the Client.
• Analyze the requirement and find the most suitable / preferable approach to achieve the functionality in an efficient manner.
• Creation of various frameworks using the tool specified above, e.g. Keyword Driven Framework, Modular Framework, Hybrid Framework to perform multiple Regressions for every Production Cycle, across various Channels that the client supports, i.e. Web, B2B Business to Business , IRIS Intercontinental Reservations Interface System .
• Testing of remediated applications, porting the remediated applications to the environments QA, INT, QAP and PROD .
• Preparation of quality documents like Traceability, Test Summary, Daily Status, Run Plan and day to day delivery of test execution.
• Defect logging, Verification and tracking till closure in Quality Center.
• Peer Code review and providing feedback for code quality improvement.
• Debugging the scripts created, as and when changes take place in the application to be tested, to keep the scripts updated for an Automated Regression.
• Mentor team members in design and analysis activities.
• Assist in the training and orientation of other staff and end users.
• Conducting Status review meetings with the customer.
• Demonstrating / showcasing the new frameworks to the customer to comply with any of their requirements.

• The greatest amount of commercial transactions in our economy occurs between businesses, either in the form of wholesale transactions or purchases required to run the business. Sending XML Requests and the corresponding Receipt and Acknowledgement in form of XML Response over HTTP framework for a B2B solution using XML communication is one of the most common methods by which B2B communication between business takes place.
• To validate this, a framework was created, called XML over HTTP.
• All communication takes place using XML documents. There are two involved, one document is sent to the receiving server and one is returned, and thus validated.
