• Brought in as a contractor to lead Source Code Migration effort from various source code repositories (VSS, Subversion, PVCS) into IBM Rational ClearCase across multiple development locations throughout the organization

• Assumed lead role within existing team of 3 Release Engineers to manage the SDLC tools consisting of ClearQuest, ClearCase, ReqPro as well as to define the “best practices” software development model to be adopted by entire Business Unit

• Designed in depth training curriculum for personnel across multiple sites in the US covering all aspects of IBM Rational Tools Suite including ClearCase, ClearQuest and ReqPro.

• Rewrote several existing SOP’s to reflect best practices and usage models for newly implemented tool suite of IBM Rational products.

• Took ownership of several high-visibility projects as the Release Engineering liaison to ensure flawless deployments of critical associated applications

• Solely responsible for all ClearCase Administration including, but not limited to, developer support, installations, patching, VOB and View maintenance, and all related activities.

• Brought in as a contractor to take over all IBM Rational ClearCase Administration and Build & Release duties for departing engineer

• Provided seamless transition with only 2 days turnover from existing Admin.

• Documented and trained all affected personnel in several countries (Greece, Brazil, Portugal, Venezuela and US) on full SDLC and the role that the IBM Rational Tool Suite played in their day to day efforts.

• Responsible for all build and release activities for multiple products across several source code branches and geographical development sites.

• Solely responsible for all ClearCase Administration including, but not limited to, developer support, back-ups, installations, patching, VOB and View maintenance, and all related activities.

• Serve as the ClearCase Multisite Admin for several domestic and international development centers (Brazil, Greece, Germany, Portugal, Venezuela and the U.S)

• Responsible for all Source Code Configuration (ClearCase) for FMRCo Systems consisting of over 200 developers across several regions geographically and otherwise

• Designed and delivered ClearCase Concepts and Process Model training for all divisions within FMRco Systems to cover all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle and its integration with ClearCase.

• Created and deployed scripts that perform nightly builds on over 25 different projects across several platforms (Solaris, Linux, etc.)Implement and support multiple ClearCase regions consisting of separate VOB and View servers and associated administrative tasks and overhead.

• Consolidated ClearCase environment from 5 separate regions to 3 to streamline efficiency and code sharing.

• Migrated all ClearCase storage from Unix (Solaris) Servers to Network Appliance (NetApp) while limiting any downtime.

• Brought in as contractor strictly to support development organization with Clear Case issues.

• Streamlined existing build procedure using automation and make files to reduce build time by 80%.

• Documented all aspects of build process including entrance and exit criteria to the build and release team as well as build machine configuration document.

• Immediately assumed all build related issues regarding the soon to be released software product nearing end of 2 year development effort.

• Created a web page to give development organization a 'real time' update as to current build status

• Instituted a procedure that allowed multiple configurations of build environments to coexist on 1 build machine thereby reducing equipment costs and build turn around time.
