• The ACES Benefit System ABS is a client server application that provides Inquiry and Maintenance functionality for ACES Benefit data CT, ME NH . It has a Windows based front-end written in Visual Basic running on the desktop, and an IMS transaction based back-end, written in COBOL, running on a mainframe. The method of communication between the two is MQ Series
• ABS system contains almost all the information regarding products sold and serviced by Anthem for the states of Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire and Virginia.
