Rising Creek Pictures is a video production agency whose focus is to work with sports properties and non-profit organizations to create television, film, video and on-line and social media assets. Rising Creek Pictures clients include sports properties like NCAA Football and the Big 12 Conference. Non-profit and issue advocacy clients include ExxonMobil Foundation, Bank of America Charitable Foundation and The First Tee.
Mission: The mission of Rising Creek Pictures is to conceptualize and produce engaging, smart, creative and cost-effective messages for our clients.
Results:
- Created and produced TV image spots for NCAA Football. The campaign is in its second year of creative with the tagline “Come See For Yourelf”. Spots are airing on NCAA Division I FCS broadcasts nationally and in stadiums around the country.
- Created the Big 12 Conference’s campaign, “Live the Dream”. Campaign aired on ABC Network, ESPN family of networks, Fox Sports networks and other Big 12 Conference media elements, including stadiums and arenas in Big 12 territory.
- Conceptualized, wrote and produced partnership campaign for Big 12 Conference and Special Olympics media elements. Campaign is currently airing on ABC Network, ESPN family of networks, Fox Sports networks and other Big 12 Conference media elements.
- Produced Conference USA’s television and multi-media campaign, “We Play For You”. Campaign is currently airing on CBS Network, CBS College Sports and ESPN family of networks and Fox Sports Networks.
- Produced Conference USA’s television and multi-media campaign, “Competition Lives Here”, “Tradition Lives Here”, Sportsmanship Lives Here” and “Student-athletes Live Here”. Campaign is currently airing on CBS Network, CBS College Sports and ESPN family of networks.
- Conceptualized, written and produced a wide variety of image advertising materials including television campaigns and non-profit documentaries.
- Shot, wrote and produced ExxonMobil Foundation films promoting CSJP Summer Internship and Green Team programs.
- Shot, wrote and produced Bank of America Charitable Foundation films for Neighborhood Excellence Initiative.
- Shot, wrote and produced Big South Conference’s television and multi-media campaign, which includes image spots and 25 short stories (called The Best of the Best) for Big South television broadcasts
- Conceptualized, wrote and produced inspiration film for The First Tee of Dallas. Film is being used as a fundraising tool.

Hawkeye Sports and Entertainment is a leading sports marketing agency based in Dallas, TX. HSE is a consistent Promo Magazine Top 50 agency with clients like Capital One, The North Face and Anheuser-Busch.
Mission: As account director for the NCAA, I managed a team whose assignment was NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball.
Results:
- Created the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball “Power of the Dream” promotion, a grassroots event designed to create buzz and sell tickets to regional events for the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship.
- Working closely with NCAA National Office and all twelve (12) 2008 host cities to manage this turnkey promotion, whose elements include grassroots events, multimedia and new media and a tremendous amount of coordination between HSE and key stakeholders.
- Plan and buy media in local markets where NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament is played
- Manage NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Grant Program, which includes awarding nearly $1,000,000 of promotional grants to conferences and athletic department and reviewing strategic marketing plans to grow women’s basketball.
- Building relationships with several top sports properties to grow HSE traditional-sports client base.

The Southland Conference is an NCAA Division I property made of up 12 universities in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.
Mission: My duties included managing all things external, ranging from advertising, promotions, television, new media, media relations and revenue, as well as tournament director for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Southland Conference Basketball Tournament.
Results:
- Created and/or developed all branding elements for Southland Conference including television spots, tournament logos, selected media guide elements and a wide variety of elements for all Southland Conference championship events.
- Tournament Director for O’Reilly Auto Parts Southland Conference Basketball Tournament in Houston. Specifically managed all external communications to promote the tournament which set attendance records in 2006 and 2007
- Directed all areas of Community Relations, including strategic development, partner relationships, budgets and tactical implementation.
- Built Southland.TV, the live on-line telecast video streaming platform of the Southland Conference in coordination with XOS Technology.
- Corporate Partner Program grew from zero sponsors to 11 (roughly $500,000 in new annual revenue) in first six months of employment after negotiating and closing deals with sponsors like: State Farm, Capital One, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Aeropostale, Jostens, Academy Sports and a host of other regional and national brand names.
- Television on FSN-Southwest is a time-buy. Increase in sponsorship revenue allowed FSNSW package grow from 7 telecasts in 2004-2005 to 15 in 2007-08.

Mission: National Hole in One is the leading brand in the golf prize indemnification category; National Media owned a very small share of the non-golf prize indemnification category. The challenge was to build the National Media brand, become involved in high-profile events and ultimately drive sales growth.
Results:
- Built partnerships with brands like Ralston Purina, Mercedes Benz, Wendy’s and Dr. Pepper and created promotions on a national and international level.
- Created new product lines like prize performance coverage for professional athletes which included more than a dozen PGA/LPGA and Champions Tour professionals, several NASCAR racers, NHL and NBA professionals and NCAA coaches.
- Reached or exceeded sales growth goals six years running.
