Description:
Six systems comprise the Agent Tracking Systems .These systems have served State Farm well since mid-1980. However, this group of systems now largely consists of fragmented data stores and out-of-date technologies. Use of out-of-date technology has forced a number of State Farm business areas to develop copies of the agent information within the systems. These copies are redundant and significant resources are utilized each year to maintain them. Today, this group of Agent Tracking Systems hinders State Farm\'s ability to respond quickly to new business directions and new marking and quality initiatives for the benefit of our policy and account holders.

It is in State Farm\'s best interest for the future to move away from the current system and application design structure. The goals of this project are to produce the conceptual, logical and physical data store models, create the production data stores and populate them utilizing existing data, perform data analysis and cleansing as necessary, create and deliver a process to synchronize data on the new data stores with legacy AIMS data. This overall effort will increase State Farm\'s ability to respond quickly to new business directions and new marketing and quality initiatives for the benefit of our policy and account holders at reduced ongoing costs.
