Responsible for the Business Insurance Front-End, which included Security, Data Collection, Help, Front End Applications menu, and Real-time Support. Ensured the best possible Production and Test IMS environments by taking a leadership role in performance, maintenance, change control, monthly version coordination, production implementation, problem control and resolution.
- Contributions to Travelers IT CL Migration Project, which was to create a more stable and effective path for testing programs and moving them to production.
- Member of a team which implemented changes for the Travelers IT Parallel Sysplex project, which allows systems to run in a parallel environment when the production environment crashes. Parallel Sysplex technology allows multiple mainframes to act as one.
- Performed disaster recovery testing for Travelers BI Front End, Common Database, General Inquiry, PIUS, AIUS, Omni, Upbeat, CIF, Agency Download, and PIF legacy applications.
- Created a reporting process to help assist in the on-call batch process for several system applications. The reports helped to determine which batch jobs ran, didn’t run, ran unsuccessfully, and was scheduled to run.
