Duties include Human Resource issues, payroll, employee health insurance, workman's compensation issues, retirement account management, overseeing accounts payable, receivable, collections, and marketing the practice as well as maintaining the website. Due to the departure of five physicians leaving the group of nine to a group of four, I had to let twenty-six employees go. I dealt with these unpleasant tasks. I am also responsible for a half a million dollar renovation at no cost to the practice. I answer directly to the president of the group. My position was eliminated due to the current economic climate.

I was also the liaison between providers, Reno Diagnostic Center and the University of Nevada-Reno School of Medicine. The school was involved in genetic counseling and had to have ultrasound-guided amniocentesis handled appropriately and it was my job to make sure all functions surrounding the procedures were free of error.
