My Role: As a product specialist I used Actimize to develop Models that run on a daily/weekly basis and trigger off alerts using Oracle to fetch and filter the data that qualifies for any violation.

Below are the Models I have built at Infosys Technologies for Confidential/Merrill Lynch:

Model:WatchList Proprietary Lookback Retired Deals

Description:This Model checks for any position gains by proprietary accounts during a lookback period of 30 days that might have traded on any securities that belong to retired deals between companies. A major challenge was to optimize the queries to handle trade data for 30 business days for all global regions.

Model:Restricted List Proprietary Equity

Description:This Model generates alerts for proprietary accounts having traded on equities and their derivatives marked for restriction. Being global, this Model also handles enormous data.

Model:Restricted List Alpha Capture

Description:The Model validates the trade ideas (Suggestions/Recommendations) provided by the workers on securities that are marked restricted for trading. This Model receives data from numerous feeds across various time zones and runs multiple times a day.

Model:Restricted List Employee Equity

Description:This Model triggers off an alert when an employee account has traded on equities and its derivative options, entitlements or debts that are marked restricted for employee trading.
