EXPERIENCE
Project Title: Azura Application November 2012 to Present
Confidential,NJ
Lead iOS Developer
Project Description:
The application is a website testing application that integrates the JIRA Mobile Connect SDK into a web browser allowing a user to report issues with a website to a JIRA instance. The application allows the user to change the default JIRA information to their own in order to test their website on iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPad. When designing a website, there are various tools to test it on a computer, but not many to test on a mobile device. Upon realizing this, I was tasked with creating a mobile browser that provides similar functionality as the stock Safari browser with the addition of JIRA Mobile connects to allow issue and bug reporting of a website.
Responsibilities:
Involved in requirement gathering and outlining. Used Prototyper to create mockups. Made decisions on Layout design and Layout modifications. Prompt in handling Custom Menus, Dialogs and creating Image Views. Used Webview for browser and custom Navigation bar and Toolbar with custom buttons to mimic the stock Safari browser. Worked with the UI team to design the appropriate icon and display for the screens Used Xcode and Storyboards to develop the screens for the application using MVC design pattern Testing included emulator and device testing with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch with iOS 5.0 to iOS 6.1 Involved in iOS performance testing along with Functional and regression tests. Followed the agile methodology for implementing the project. Took care of Code Review, Code Fixes and bug Fixes. Coordinated with Configuration Manager for continuous integration. Managed and coordinated for timely delivery. Environment: Mac OS X, iOS 6, Objective-C, JIRA Mobile Connect SDK
Project Title: Bamboo Application July 2012 to Present
Lead Android/iOS Developer Confidential,NJ
Project Description:
The application is an interface for theAtlassian Bamboo configuration management tool. The application allows a Configuration Managers to review, monitor, as well as initiate project builds with a user friendly interface. Users can navigate through the application easily and accurately to perform critical on their mobile device. The application uses REST APIs to connect to the server for up-to-date information. After successful login, the user can be notified of new builds through notifications. The application uses shared preferences for storing user information.
Responsibilities:
Involved in requirement gathering and outlining. Used Blasmiq and Prototyper to create mockups. Made decisions on Layout design and Layout modifications. Prompt in handling Custom Menus, Dialogs and creating Image Views. Used Open Source Libraries for HTTP communication, User Feedback/Error Reporting, and UI enhancements such as iOS’s common Pull-to-Refresh convention. Used list views & populated lists from the server using simple and custom adapters. Used REST APIs for server communication. Used JSON parsing to filter server responses. Used Shared Preferences to store and maintain user information. Used gestures to allow for a consistent user experience. Worked with the UI team to design the appropriate icon and display for the screens Used Eclipse IDE to develop the screens for the application using MVC design pattern Application targeted Android 4.1 and iOS 6 and made compatible with previous versions. Android backward compatibility was achieved using the ActionBarSherlock library. Tested the application on multiple Android and iOS targets and debugged the issues that were found Testing included emulator and device testing with multiple versions and sizes. Followed the agile methodology for implementing the project. Took care of Code Review, Code Fixes and bug Fixes. Involved in Android performance testing along with Functional and regression tests. Coordinated with Configuration Manager for continuous integration. Managed and coordinated for timely delivery. Helped write custom backend plug-in for additional REST support and licensing.
