Formerly "Lear Corporation" the Company is a global automotive supplier specializing in interior trim products.

Plant Superintendent / Interim Operations Manager (Injection Molding, Assembly)
Responsible for dept budget, manpower, schedule adherence, corrective actions, scrap and regrind.

  • In 2012 managed the set up of a 100,000 sq ft plant for production of the 2014 GM Corvette program. This included the construction of offices, isle ways, assembly equipment and a long list of misc items.
  • Currently managing the new plant including 5 salary heads and approximately 80 hourly heads.
  • Recognized in Oct 2010 as the benchmark plastic molding supplier by the Nissan North America Executive leadership team.
  • Achieved IAC's Manufacturing Excellence "Silver" status award for 2010 and 2011, modeled after the Toyota Production System.
  • Exceeded plant quality improvement targets year over year for PPM and written concerns.
  • Acknowledge by I.A.C for highest level of 5S and for being the benchmark for all I.A.C. plants to follow.
  • Exceeded all plant goals in efficiency, quality and safety by a 10% margin in 2009, 2010 and 15% in 2011.
  • Cost savings reduction of $780,000 through implementation of 4 CI Projects.
  • Manage two departments, nine supervisors, three engineers, 1 maintenance manager and a plant of 450 hourly employees at it highest point.
