Description:
TRECnet is a Global Medical and Clinical Enquiry and Content Management System which enables medical information professionals to manage customer inquiries and accordingly generate responses as well as share and communicate medical information response documents.
Find Response is a System component that medical professionals use to build responses to questions. Find Response uses the question to retrieve the best matching content from the content management system which contains both medical and clinical data. Once the response content is selected and previewed by the medical professional it is sent to the build and publish system for reformatting and merging of fields based on the predefined layout rules for that country. This formatted response is then sent to the requester via the requested fulfillment methods (i.e. email, print or fax). TRECnet. In some cases the response is built automatically and sent for publishing and fulfillment.
Responsibilities as QA Tester:
- As Siebel tester responsible for understanding and analyzing the functional processes and business scenarios.
- Performed System Integration testing to verify the interaction between the Siebel system and the documentum Firstdoc system. This essentially involved triggering a request for the response items stored in the Firstdoc system and verifying the resulting response items displayed in the ‘Find Response’ interface screen of the Siebel system.
- Verified the mapping of the fields on the ‘Find Response’ interface screen in Siebel system with the fields displayed on each of the response components in the documentum Firstdoc system.

Also the client has to plough through a number of systems to access the correct data. Streamlining and maintenance of such data is a major issue.
