Responsibilities:
- Led team of analysts to maintain, enhance and redefine the monitoring process of turbine engines
- Performed the analysis, design, development, testing and support of applications to better track the monitoring process. Created applications to be used by engineers throughout the firm to predict engine efficiency, usage and service based on numerous variables including environment, industry, cooling system, annual hours, etc…
- Managed applications that were used as tracking systems for the installation and commissioning (I&C) of turbine engines around the world. Responsibilities:
- Managed projects to upgrade print capability to meet clients’ demand. This included providing the analysis, design, varying levels of development to improve our processes, both operationally and technologically to be able to provide a more dynamic and flexible full service print shop.
- Complete responsibility for the firm’s regulatory mailing of Shareholder reports (Prospectus, Annual report and Proxy). Managed projects that developed new services and products for our clients as well as led a team of varying levels of developers that performed this work. - Performed the analysis, design, development and testing of a process to send SOAP requests to an external system (outside of our Business Unit), which would execute a remote procedure call to return information back to our system. Worked extensively with resources (business and systems) from the external business units to develop the requirements list and during the rest of the project as well since this was a new process. This architecture and technology became one of our standard processes for receiving data into our business unit. The initial project was an effort of six months.
- Worked daily with data and systems’ processes that had to conform to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) standards. Performed many tasks including the analysis, design, development, and testing on projects to re-engineer existing processes to conform to the strict standards.
- Managed numerous projects, provided solutions that were flexible and scalable that satisfied client requirements: Performed the analysis, design, development and testing of projects to support implementation of B2B services where clients would send requests (via XML) to generate customized documents that were archived into image management systems (FileNet) then were delivered back to the users’ browsers.
