Owned, operated and managed a Georgia State Licensed personal care home for mental health consumers. Responsibilities included medication management, transporting residents to and from medical appointments, assisting with daily needs and activities, activity planning, daily consumer evaluation, processing intake and discharge, creating menus, creating work schedule for staff, payroll and maintain personnel files. Monthly fire and disaster drills were performed to assure consumer awareness of safety. Managed staff and perform staff evaluation twice yearly. Before consumers were discharged from the hospital I held exit and strategy meetings for a successful transition to the personal care home. Took over 100 calls daily with minimal wait time while giving excellent customer service and assuring order accuracy. Resolved billing disputes while working on the save desk to assure customer satisfaction. Assisted with the training of new employees as well as performed as back up in the absent of Management.
