Applicant was the BizTalk Architect for the client\'s tax modernization project. This project replaces the state’s current mainframe based tax system with a distributed system based on SAP. During the design and build stage of the project, Applicant developed the integration architecture which utilized BizTalk 2009 Beta with the ESB Guidance 2.0 to integrate SAP backend with several (100+) internal and external systems. Risk Management (Supply Chain)
Applicant was the BizTalk Architect for DataPipeline Solution. The solution was build using Microsoft BizTalk Sever 2004, SQL Server 2000 SP3 and Visual Studio 2003 was used for development. Applicant architected the DataPipeline solution architecture to support a very high sustained processing rate per second in a messaging only scenario. (i.e. greater than 80 messages per sec) Applicant upgraded the solution to Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 and SQL Server 2005 to take advantage of the management abilities of the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 release and increase performance of SQL Server 2005. Applicant re-architected the solution upon the release of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2. The solution captures a number of supply chain documents in their native format from various interfaces (EDI, Flat File, and XML) and transforms it into an internal canonical xml format. The internal canonical messages are enriched with additional data from various sources (several external (D&B World Base) and internal data stores (address standardization, commodities lookup) and pushed to WebSphereMQ using the MQSeries Server adapter. Applicant created in Visual Studio 2003 and 2005, external schemas (XML, EDI, and Flat file) internal XML schemas, BizTalk mapping, and several custom pipeline components (written in C#). Applicant also installed BizTalk 2006 Server R2 and SQL Server 2005 into integration, QA and Production environments. Applicant also developed schema and map versioning methodology.
