Responsibilities:
- Led the Center for Integrated Programs which includes three offices, eleven distinct programs (encompassing nearly 400 grants and a dozen contracts), twenty - six staff, with an annual budget of more than $150 M.
- Designed and stood up the new Office of Healthcare Information and Counseling where I oversaw 15 FTE and led three nation-wide federal programs with a total annual budget of roughly $100 million. This includes:
- Setting the vision for these programs and ensuring execution
- Handling all necessary personnel actions including hiring for seven positions
- Running a complex federal budget across multiple programs and multiple funding sources
- Interacting with the more than 150 grantees provided funding through these programs
- Overseeing the design and implementation of a new nation-wide data system
- Managing eight contracts across three programs
- Led the Administration for Community Living’s Grants Management Advisory Council which is charged with overseeing all grant making policies and procedures for the agency.
- Directly oversaw the transition of the Confidential Assistance Program from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service to the Administration for Community Living. This was a complex transition of a $50+ million program involving 54 grantees and numerous senior-level stakeholders.
- Designed and implemented the process to develop the Confidential mission, vision, and strategic plan.
- Planned and facilitated multiple all-day management planning sessions at the sr. leadership, management, and staff levels.

Responsibilities:
- Participating in the development of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Strategic Plan through planning for and facilitating strategy sub-groups.
- Leading and managing multi-person teams responsible for Organizational Improvement activities, Business Process Reengineering, and Commercial Services Management at both the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Homeland Security.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of a BPR Program Management Office which included developing and tracking the implementation timeline, the communication plan, and the risk mitigation plan. In addition, I was the lead trainer and BPR subject matter expert.
- Leading multiple proposal teams including one that won a 5-year $6 million Blanket Purchase Agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Co-developing Grant Thornton’s Organizational Improvement Methodology successfully implemented at multiple federal agencies.
