Role Description:
This project involved replacing the AAFES collections call center hardware and software with Cisco products. We implemented Cisco IP phones and an IVR with ACH and credit card processing capabilities. We also implemented a variety of real time and batch interfaces. Some of the technologies used were Cisco CVP 4.1, Cisco ICM, Cisco Unified Call Studio and Verint.
My responsibilities included gathering business requirements and the design of custom interfaces and the IVR. I was also responsible for programming and testing of the custom interfaces and the IVR. In addition, I installed the CVP application, applied licenses and worked with Cisco TAC in troubleshooting issues. Some of the skills that I gained while on this project are IVR programming with Cisco Unified Call Studio, making modifications to ICM scripts and testing Verint call recording. I also gained more experience with the Java programming language and gained call center knowledge in general.

Role Descriptions:
This team provided support for the eGate test environments for multiple, staged releases. In addition, the team was responsible for making code fixes as well as new development for the various releases. The team also provided production support for the existing production environment. We worked with multiple schemas and versions of eGate. eGate 4.1.2 and 4.5.3 were used.
My responsibilities included designing, programming and unit testing interfaces between SPL’s CISPlus system, a Siebel application and other databases. I used a variety of eWays such as DART, TCP, FTP and HTTP. I also used multi-mode eWays when making modifications to the 4.5.3 interfaces. Some of the skills that I gained while on this project are becoming more proficient with mapping data fields from various systems and gaining experience with designing interfaces. I also gained additional experience with the Monk programming language, Java, SQL and EDI troubleshooting. In addition, I gained more experience, in general, with eGate 4.1.2 and eGate 4.5.3.
I also worked on the SAP project at this client to replace the existing systems. This project included replacing eGate and EDI processing. We replaced eGate ePM and eGate 4.1.2 with Inovis BizLink and Inovis Trusted Link. I provided technical and functional expertise on the existing eGate interfaces. In addition, I developed EDI to SAP IDOC interfaces using Inovis Trusted Link software.

Role Description:
This team created new interfaces and made modifications to existing ones that exchanged information with SAP and several other in-house applications. The team created the new interfaces with SeeBeyond’s ICAN Suite and the existing interfaces were modified in the SRE schemas. There was a separate SRE schema for both Monk and Java 4.5.3 interfaces.
My responsibilities included programming and unit testing ICAN interfaces between SAP and other in-house applications. I also made modifications to existing Monk interfaces in the SRE schema. Some of the skills that I gained while on this project are additional experience with the Monk programming language, additional Java programming experience, and unit testing procedures. In addition, I gained experience with SeeBeyond’s ICAN Suite and SAP IDOCS.

Role Description:
This project involved implementing Siebel and using eGate 4.5.3 to convert data from the legacy system to Siebel.
My responsibilities included designing, programming and testing of eGate components between the legacy system and Siebel. I was also responsible for the management of the eGate environment, which includes managing migrations, applying patches and taking back-ups. I also designed and implemented a nightly batch process through the use of eInsight 4.5.3. In addition, I was responsible for the migration of code fixes and enhancements to the Production environment through the use of Microsoft Visual SourceSafe version control software.
Some of the skills that I gained while on this project include gaining experience with eGate 4.5.3, eInsight (eBPM) 4.5.3, and Java. I also gained experience in Windows scripting by having to create scripts to help manage the eGate environment, such as backup and start/stop scripts. In addition, I gained experience using and setting up Visual SourceSafe.

Role Description:
The Transaction Management Hub is the gateway for Reliant Energy to receive and send EDI transactions in the deregulated Texas electricity market. The system receives transactions from ERCOT and Competitive Retailers and sends them to several different Legacy systems within Reliant Energy. It also sends transactions to ERCOT and competitive retailers that originate from several legacy systems within Reliant Energy. The TMH system used eBPM business processes to handle the flow of these transactions.
My responsibilities included designing, programming and testing of eGate components and eBPM processes between the TMH system and the legacy systems. I was also responsible for helping with production support issues. In addition, I was responsible for the migration of code fixes and enhancements to the production environment.
Some of the skills that I gained while on the TMH project include gaining more experience with eGate 4.1.2, eBPM 4.1.2, and ePM 4.1.2. I also gained experience with Unix scripting by having to modify existing scripts as well as create new ones. In addition, I gained some experience with Lotus Notes due to my involvement in the design and development of a task-tracking tool that is used by the TMH team. I was also involved in a later revision of the tool that led to other teams at Reliant Energy using the tool to track tasks\' as well.

Role Description:
This team conducted business unit readiness testing on interfaces that were scheduled to go into production and those that were already in production.
My responsibilities included ‘shaking out’ of the eGate test environment to make sure all of the components were configured correctly. I was also responsible for troubleshooting any problems encountered in any of the interfaces. In addition, I provided support for the CISPlus application team by manually submitting transactions into an interface when necessary.

I worked on the CRIS Interface team that was responsible for the development of interfaces with other applications (ex: SPL\'s CISPlus) and Oracle databases through the use of eGate 4.1.2 and eXchange 4.1.2.
