Project: Essex Credit Corporation (now owned by Bank of the West) is one of the nation’s leading financial services firms focused exclusively on the pleasure boating and recreational vehicle market. The IT division of Essex Credit Corporation is mainly divided in two parts, the internet and the Intranet. One of the main projects it the new and improved online loan application which is associated to the internet division. The information entered by the customer in the online application is to be made available to the employees of Essex Credit in a structured fashion through the intranet applications. That is the second scope of the project.
Essex Credit has also decided to incorporate Crystal Reports as the primary reporting tool and hence all the reports are to be migrated to Crystal Reports.

Set up meetings with the client in order to gather requirements for enhancements and also suggest possible future enhancements and document it. Coordinate with the development and testing team to ensure that all the enhancements are incorporated in the application. Monitor the UAT team and document the feedback for defects and future enhancements. Review the XML post and test the data that is being sent to the cache server and database to ensure that the data gets populated in the required areas and also to make sure that unnecessary data gets scrubbed in the XML post so as not to cause problems to the risk processor. Project : The project was the first and the main phase (i.e. Release 1.x) of the complete overhaul of the online systems of PennDOT. In this release the Financial Administration, Inventory & warehouse and Product lists & Correspondences were covered. Delloit, one of the leading consulting companies, was awarded the contract for release 1.x. As reporters our job comprised of understanding the Client’s requirements in each of the sectors of Finance, Inventory and Correspondences make the reports and also make sure that the reports were interfaced properly with the Java Application front end with the proper use of the correct Java SDKs provided by Business Objects. As the only reporter of the current maintenance team I had to debug complex issues and deal with enhancements requested by the client and implement them.

Understanding the existing reports and tuning them to improve performance. Interacted with the client to understand the working and business requirements of the various departments like Finance, Inventory, Warehouse, etc. Designed complex reports involving multiple subreports or reports based on ORACLE SQL commands and Stored Procedures. Created parameters, running totals and summaries for calculated fields within Crystal Reports. Developed several Drilldown Reports, Cross Tab Reports, Summary reports and Detail reports using Crystal Reports. Created reports off both OLAP and OLTP databases.
