PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Confidential, Irvine, CA
Technical Project Manager
- Project Manager for Infrastructure and Software Development (Agile/Scrum Methodology) projects serving a variety of organizations such as Toyota, Kaiser, Riverbed Technology, Manatt Health, Everi Holdings. Many of the projects I managed were sufficiently complex to require a client facing role.
- Confidential is an IT Consulting firm. Each client was unique and as such, Confidential had to adapt to how the client wanted to conduct the project. This means that meetings, maintenance windows, reporting, schedules, milestones, were all dictated to some degree by the client. Confidential had both Time and Material’s and Fixed Price contracts. One of the challenges of the project manager was to keep the project moving forward and within scope for fixed price contracts. Clients have little motivation to maintain a schedule and the more time that goes by, are always pressuring to add scope.
